What are NStack Functions?
NStack provides a library of statistical and machine learning functions which can be used on your imported datasets. These functions have been optimised for various use-cases and data formats, and are contributed by both the NStack team and the NStack community.
Do I need to understand statistics or know how to code to use the models?
No. These models are intended to be used without having to dive into statistics or write custom code, and have lots of features to automate these things.
How do I know what is happening inside the function?
NStack Functions are open source. On a function's page, click on the Source Code tab to see exactly how the function is working.
What extra features do the functions provide?
Most models include automatic validation (if the model allows it) and automatic pre-processing of data to remove things that could skew results (such as imbalanced classes or highly correlated variables).
Can I deploy my own functions?
Yes! If you're interested in deploying your own data science functions, written in Python or SQL, speak to us and we'll enable it on your account.
